Terms of Service
Welcome to SquatchTalk (“SquatchTalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site or apps (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service (no hard feelings—we’ll keep the campfire warm).
Community Values & Editorial Orientation (Conservative Platform)
SquatchTalk is an online community built around conservative values and culture. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Editorial Orientation. We prioritize content, features, and community initiatives that align with conservative principles such as free speech within the law, individual liberty, limited government, personal responsibility, and respect for faith, family, and community.
- Viewpoint Preference (Not a Public Forum). SquatchTalk is a privately operated platform, not a public forum. We may exercise editorial discretion to promote, demote, label, restrict, or remove content and accounts that we determine are inconsistent with our mission, community standards, or business interests—even if such content may be allowed elsewhere.
- Standards & Moderation. While our orientation is conservative, all users must follow these Terms and our Community Guidelines (including the Prohibited Uses below). Illegal content; harassment or targeted threats; doxxing; sexually explicit content involving minors; incitement to violence; spam; platform manipulation; and content that violates privacy, intellectual property, or other rights are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate action, including account suspension or termination.
- Political & Civic Content. Political expression is welcome within the law and these Terms. Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations when posting political messages, advocacy, solicitations, or advertising. We may require disclaimers, labels, or verification for certain political or issue ads and may restrict misleading content about civic processes.
- No Government or Party Affiliation. “Conservative” describes our cultural and editorial orientation. SquatchTalk is not owned, operated, or directed by any government entity or political party.
- Non-Discrimination. We value equal dignity for all people. We do not allow content that unlawfully discriminates against protected classes under applicable law. Disagreement on ideas is permitted; unlawful discrimination, harassment, or threats are not.
- Transparency of Enforcement. We may update enforcement priorities to address evolving risks (e.g., coordinated inauthentic behavior, bot spam, illegal activity). Where feasible, we’ll provide notices or labels; however, we may act without notice to protect users, the platform, or comply with legal obligations.
- Your Acceptance. If you disagree with our conservative orientation or moderation approach, you may choose not to use the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of this section and all other Terms.
